Acting Jakarta Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, attended the Jakarta Cooperation Award Charter 2024 handover at Balai Agung, Central Jakarta, Thursday (7/11).

Acting Governor, accompanied by City Secretary, Joko Agus Setyono and his staff, expressed his appreciation to the award recipients for their contribution in advancing development in Jakarta.
"This is an appreciation event for business entities, institutions, or foundations that have contributed to the development of Jakarta into a global city. We all understand that building a city requires massive, structured, and systematic synergy so that various aspects that touch people's lives can be involved. Because the city of Jakarta belongs to its citizens who also want progress," he expressed, as quoted by Jakarta Provincial Government's press release.
Inaugurating Echelon III and IV Officials, Acting Governor Heru Asks to Master Main Tasks for Smooth PerformanceHe explained it is the right step because development in a region must have harmony regarding aspects of society, health, and the environment. He hoped, this event could become a forum for strengthening synergy and triggering motivation for other stakeholders to open up opportunities for cooperation in developing the City of Jakarta.
"This is expected to encourage business entities, institutions, and foundations to synergize and align joint programs on CSR activities. Because the impact won't only be felt by the actors working together but also all residents of Jakarta," he explained.
Some 15 winners were chosen at the Jakarta Cooperation Awards from an initial total of 138 participants. The participants had undergone several stages, namely registration and socialization from April to June 2024. The virtual judging stage by the Technical Jury was held on June 6, 2024, field verification on June 10 and 11, 2024, and direct judging at Borobudur Hotel by the Expert Jury on June 14, 2024.
Hope recipients from 15 agencies/companies are divided into three categories, namely the Community Empowerment Category, Health Category, and Environmental Category. The following is a list of award recipients;
Community Empowerment Category

Regional Cooperation Bureau Head, Marulina Dewi explained the participants were enthusiastic about this event. It was realized as a realization by the Jakarta Government and its stakeholders in maintaining cooperative relationships in building the city.
"Hopefully, today's event increase the enthusiasm of business entities, institutions, and foundations in synergizing to harmonize various programs in the Jakarta Government through social responsibility programs in the business world. The hope is that city development can run on a sustainable basis and have a wider impact," he closed.
